Supporting the local community since 1975

Do you want to share your ideas, meet people, make new friends, try new activities and find support within the community?

Welcome to the Linden Hall Community Centre, Hampton

Come along and join us at Linden Hall Community Centre

Linden Hall is a charity run community centre, here for people in and around the local communities offering a wide range of activities for everyone of all ages to enjoy.

You will have noticed our uniquely shaped building situated in the heart of Hampton near the level crossing and home to our Lindeners Social Club that runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, catering for the over 55s to enjoy a friendly and supportive environment.  Our social club is open and accepting new members.  Members enjoy a freshly cooked two course lunch and is a great place to find support and socialise with other members whilst having a cuppa.  We have a range of activities for you to take part in, including ‘Seated Exercises’, bingo, quizzes, and games.  We have a hairdresser that visits every Thursday, as well as a chiropodist once a month and our Linderners Social Club members get good rates for both.  Transport to and from the centre can also be arranged for those who require it.

Linden’s Little Larks Parent and Toddler group for under 5s runs on a Monday and Wednesday morning 9.30 till 11.30am, which offers a wide range of toys for children to enjoy and a wonderful place for parents and carers to meet and make new friends.

Linden Hall also offers a wide range of high and low impact exercise classes for all age groups including specialist classes for over 60’s including Seated Exercise’s on Tuesday at 10.45am and Zumba Gold on Friday at 10.15am.  There are many other clubs and classes to enjoy and rooms available to hire for parties, classes and meetings, please contact the centre for availability.

If you have time to spare and want to get involved, Linden Hall is always looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including help with our social club or maintaining our garden. Even if you can only spare a few hours a week we would love to hear from you.

Linden Hall is working alongside other charitable organisations to bring you Community Suppers’ every Tuesday 3-5pm, offering a hot meal and surplus food and meals to take away, for free or for a voluntary donation.  “The Real Junk Food Project-Twickenham”, also runs here every Monday 2.30-4.30pm and Thursday 11.30am-1.30pm, their moto is ‘feeding bellies and not bins,’ using food that has been diverted from landfill and turning it into great meals and re-distributing any surplus food to the local community on a pay what you feel basis.
